Vampiric Spirit Spammer Build
I was playing around with this tasty elite last night, and I found a nice combo...
N/E 16 Blood 12 Fire (or Earth or Water) 4 Soul Reaping Awaken the Blood Vampiric Spirit (E) Fire (or Earth or Water) Attunement Flare (or Stone Daggers or Ice Spear) Rez Signet Flex Flex Flex The key to this build is finding a target you can isolate, so that you will be able to steal life from that specific target while doing damage to them at the same time. The attunement + Vamp Spirit causes your spam skill (Flare, Stone Daggers or Ice Spear) to cost 5 energy each time you cast it, which is completely manageable. Because there is no recharge (but there is an aftercast), you can normally get off 4 Flares in about 5 seconds. (48 Damage + 59 Life Steal) x 4 Flares = 428 damage in 5 seconds (of which 236 is armor ignoring). Not too shabby for 20 energy... I'd love to hear some variations of this - it seems like this build could be improved even further for more damage enhancement (maybe Mark of Rodgort?). |

Ice Spear would be best for this build. It does more damage than any other no recharge ele spells, and the half range doesn't matter since you need to be nearby for Vampiric Spirit to work in the first place.
